Situated below the third roundabout in Torreguadiaro, this is one of Samuel & Mrs Peeps'  favourites....

La Verandah offers excellent tapas in the bar area and in the main restaurant they serve superb French-style Gourmet food. The owner is very knowledgable and passionate about the food, the staff are  are very friendly and efficient.

According to the owner, the Chef spent several years training in France, this shines out in the quality and presentation of the food. The main restaurant has a varied and tantalising menu. They also do excellent specials; including Confit of Duck and huge Steaks, both excellent quality. La Verandah is also renowned for its fish dishes, Samuel especially recommends the Mussel starters, superb!

The desserts are some of the best Samuel has had in Spain, especially the Creme Brulee, that is a must, the best I´ve had outside France....

The tapas in the main bar is delicious and plentiful. Samuel's particular favourites on the Tapas menu are the Lamb Tagine and the Duck Burgers (when available), they´re both superb. On our most recent visit we particularly enjoyed the Kebab, the Bolognaise and the Moussaka, all fabulous.

The best part about the Tapas bar is that the desserts are served here as well.....

If you go there  for the main restaurant I would advise you to book, We've been turned away mid-week in February. The Tapas bar is busy, but you can usually get a table.

Samuel has visited several times over the past four years....Our friends (above) loved it in June 2016 & 2017.

La Verandah can be contacted directly via their Facebook page .
