If you've seen my review of La Finca, you will note that I'm a big fan of this restaurant. Over the past eight years, the host (and now sole owner) Syrie has created a hugely popular destination for great food; both Thai Fusion and excellent UK-style Sunday lunches.
With a host of changes about to be made at the restaurant, 'Thai tapas' is the first and I was looking forward trying it out, I was not disappointed.
Now opening on Saturday lunchtimes (from 13.00hrs), alongside the normal menu, you can now order 'Thai tapas' . We had a range of ten dishes to choose from, priced at a very reasonable 4/4.50 Euros.
We chose the Empanadas, Goats cheese tartlets, Chicken Satay, Chaophaya (Mrs Peep's absolute favourite!) Smoked Salmon Roulade, Chicken wings and Prawn Torpedoes, all washed down with pints of the much-appreciated, newly-installed Estrella Galicia (red label).
Everything was delicious, with the Goats cheese tartlets, Chicken wings and Prawn Torpedoes particular favourites. Needless to say, we ordered extra dishes of each one. The only issue was being too full to order dessert...
I will definitely be back for Tapas, especially as the menu will change every two weeks. Highly recommended.
A great selection...
The first menu. This will be updated very two weeks.
